​Hi there!

My name is Ella Nagengast and I'm currently a student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) studying Scenic Technology.​​

From bidding, technical design, drafting, revisions, final drawings, fabrication, load in and out. I am very fortunate to love so many different facets of my field. 

More specifically, troubleshooting and problem-solving are what drew me into the world of theatrical entertainment. I love being presented with a problem and working through it to generate a successful product.

In addition to scenic fabrication and technical design, I've been developing my skills in the world of automation, mechanics, and hydraulics. Being able to combine my knowledge of electronics with the scenery that I love to create has been such an exciting journey.

I'm hoping to continue refining my skills and keep learning more about this amazing world of entertainment as I move into the professional world.
