SHOP PRACTICE
Focusing on finer carpentry skills, in shop practice all of the projects were a lot smaller and all solo. It was a really enjoyable class where we learned all different types of joinery, how to mill lumber, and more precision based tools.

ADVANCED STAGECRAFT
A continuation of the Stagecraft courses, in Advanced Stagecraft we focused largely on more complex construction basics. This included a staircase, "puzzle-piece" platforms, angled flats, curved flats, doors, & windows.

I took two semesters of blacksmithing and learned the fundamental techniques that enabled me to create projects based on my own interests.

SCENIC PAINTING
In Foundations of Scenic Paint class, we learned a variety of traditional scenic painting techniques. Everything from cartooning & pouncing, to schlepitchka & spattering. It was fun to experiement with color theory and create these pieces using different methods.
